2010 was fast. I realized that as time passes by, it also goes faster and faster. I don’t know if I’m just too busy but, it was fast. Really. A lot of things happened this year, and as I look back, I am even more thankful than what happened last year. I learned that every year, we should be thankful. Thankful for making it into another year, and thankful for everything that God is giving us. Blessings, wisdom, experiences, opportunities, even problems. With all of the accidents and natural disasters happening in the world, we can be dead right now, but look, we are celebrating the dawn of another great year ahead of us. Truly, His grace is everlasting.
I am now home and as I’m typing this blog, I am thinking of a lot of things. I don’t even know what to talk about first. But since I’m currently thankful for being home tonight instead of being on duty, PRAISE BE TO GOD. There are a lot of people away from home and they’re working hard tonight and so I am blessed to be safely home and I will celebrate the New Year with my family. Sofitel’s New Year celebration will be so fun, I know, but it’s different when you have your family around. If they agree to celebrate the new year with me in the hotel, why not? it will be fun! But having a great, extravagant celebration without my family will never be complete. I’m not ready yet to celebrate this season without them. Maybe next year I will be. Hehe. I’m looking forward to the year 2011 because, I am finally GRADUATING FROM COLLEGE! I’m super excited! I really am. Even though I’ll miss all the fun in school. I need to move on and live my life the way God wants it to be. My life will be fruitful, I know. God will never let me down. 2011 will be great, I am sure. Because no year will be bad unless I think of it as bad. No negative vibes! It’s all in our attitude and on how we look at things. Right? Riiight. :) Have a blessed, safe and God-filled year ahead! HAPPY NEW YEAR! :) xx, Izelle photo from aceisbored
